KS3 History Industrial Revolution quiz

Here in this history quiz, we will be looking at the Industrial Revolution. Priority will be given to the history of the industrial revolution in some countries in the world, the various advantages brought by it, the respective technologies introduced by then, various inventions,  etc. It is interesting to have an insight into how technology has evolved. 

The Industrial revolution as we all know was the transition to new manufacturing processes in Europe and the United States. It involved the manufacture of goods that were normally manufactured by hand to be manufactured by machines. Also, chemical products were now being manufactured, and on a large scale. There was an increase in steam power, water power, and the development of machine tools. Many industries were also constructed during the industrial revolution. It began in Great Britain, giving room for so many exciting innovations. This made Britain the world’s leading commercial nation in the mid-18th century.
