About GCSE Chemistry
GCSE Chemistry explores the composition, structure, and reactions of matter. The course covers atomic structure, bonding, quantitative chemistry, chemical changes, energy changes, rates of reaction, organic chemistry, chemical analysis, the atmosphere, and sustainable resource use.
Our GCSE Chemistry quizzes cover essential topics including atomic structure and the periodic table, ionic, covalent, and metallic bonding, moles and calculations (relative formula mass, concentration, yield), reactivity series and extraction of metals, acids, bases, and electrolysis, exothermic and endothermic reactions, rate of reaction and equilibrium, hydrocarbons, polymers, and alcohols, chromatography and flame tests, and Earth's atmosphere past and present.
Chemistry requires both factual recall and mathematical problem-solving. Our quizzes help you practise both, building confidence with key equations, balancing reactions, and applying chemical concepts to real-world scenarios.
